IT’S TIME FOR STAR TESTING!!!
Your child will be participating in California’s Standardized Testing and Reporting (STAR) program during the dates listed in the table below. It is very important that your child be on time and attend school on these testing days.

YOU CAN SUPPORT YOUR CHILD BY:
* Making sure your child has plenty of rest on the nights before testing;
* Providing a good breakfast on testing days;
* Helping your child see the test as an important opportunity to show what he or she has learned;
* Ensuring that your child gets plenty of exercise and unstructured relaxation time; and
* Donating snacks to your child’s teacher for the testing days.

Sus hijos participarán en las Pruebas Estandardizadas de California y en el Programa de Reporte (STAR) durante las fechas presentada abajo. Es muy importante que sus hijos llegan a tiempo y asistan a la escuela durante estos dias.

SE PUEDE APOYAR SU NI˜NO DE LA SIGUIENTE MANERA:
* Asergúrense de que sus hijos descansen lo suficiente antes de las pruebas;
* Que coman un buen desayuno cada mañana;
* Ayudando a que sus hijos vean las pruebas como una oportunidad de demonstrar lo que han aprendido animandolos a que hagan lo mejor que puedan;
* Asegúrense de que sus hijos tienen bastanteejercicio y tiempo de relajar durante las tardes; y
* Donando bocadillos al maestro de su niño para los dias de las pruebas.

Kindergarten Registration: Children must be 5 years old on or before November 1st. Registration packets may be obtained at the school office beginning Feb. 8th
41st. Ave. Baskin Robbins Ice Cream
Night, Thursday April 26th, 5-10 pm
"Green Acres Night" at IHOP on 41st. Ave the first Monday of each month.
School dismissed at 12:40 every Friday
